Surviving Isolation

Years ago, I had ayahuasca trip where my intention was to detach from suffering as I was going through a rather painful breakup.
I was expecting painful trip with a lot to process and let go, but instead the plant gave me a 3h orgasm, with a lot of giggling and joy.
Once that was over, ‘she’ said: “You see, the pleasure (as well as the suffering) is only an illusion of the human existence, it doesn’t belong to you, nor does it define you!”
It was such a powerful revelation that it changed my life forever!
I still suffered in the later years, I still, at times, identified with it, but I am always able to find a silver lining in each ‘unpleasant’ situation.
Instead of “Why is this happening to me”, I ask “What is this trying to teach me? How can I come out of this situation as a better human being?”
I read an article on Medium today, called “What Psychedelics Told Me About The Coronavirus” (recommended to read)
The author is making a reference to a caterpillar going into a cocoon.
What is happening in the world at the moment is scary, different, painful...
But the journey from caterpillar to a butterfly🦋is not an easy one!!
Stay safe everyone and do your best to find a silver lining❤️
We will get through this and emerge wiser, kinder, more loving and happier!
