Darkness
We tend to classify things, people, experiences, emotions... as good or bad...⠀
⠀
Especially once on a "spiritual path" we try to stay away from negativity, convincing ourselves and others that we are supposed to be positive, optimistic, kind, generous...⠀
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a kind, positive human being. ⠀
But...⠀
If we still have some darkness or trauma hidden underneath, our butterfly positivity won't be genuine.⠀

⠀
𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁.⠀
⠀
Dance with your demons and make them your servants, instead of the other way around.⠀
Recognising the pain and trauma we experienced in life gives us opportunity to feel it and eventually let go of it.⠀
⠀
It's ok to be hurt.⠀
It's ok to feel broken.⠀
It's ok to crawl into fetal position and cry your eyes out.⠀
⠀
But don't use it as a form of manipulation and getting attention from others. ⠀
Use it to release those past hurts, to forgive - yourself and others, to move forward, even one tiny step in the direction of healing and self love.❤️⠀
⠀
The more you truly love yourself, the more your darkness turns into light.✨⠀
